Part-Time Research Analyst

The Part-Time Research Analyst will work with other members of the Analytics & Institutional Research team to complete mandatory and voluntary reports, build data dashboards and visualizations, develop and field surveys, and address ad hoc institutional data needs.
Ability to work remotely. At least one day per week on WCC campus preferred.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Query, retrieve, clean, curate, and analyze large and complex datasets.
- Validate data output and troubleshoot queries.
- Create data visualizations and dashboards.
- Assist with survey development, deployment, data cleaning, and analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of institutional data reports.
- Contribute to the automation and improvement of workflows and the documentation of processes.
- Other duties as assigned.
FLSA: Hourly - Non-Exempt
Hours/Days/Year: 1040
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree
- Working knowledge of basic statistical methods
- Substantial experience and working knowledge of statistical software program to conduct data analysis
- Experience with relational database software with the ability to create complete queries
- Substantial experience with retrieving, cleaning, and curating data using Microsoft Access, Excel, and/or statistical package
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- This position requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, proofreading skills, adherence to deadlines, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize workflows
Salary/Hourly Rate: $25.22
